Riding Lessons

Year-round Riding

A large, airy indoor arena and a spacious outdoor arena provide ample facilities for your riding pleasure. We invite you to visit our beautiful property.

We welcome beginners and riders of all levels. We make a special effort to have friendly, reliable, and versatile school horses. While you enjoy your visit to HomeFarm for a lesson or a program, please do not feed or touch the horses or enter their stalls or pastures without a staff member.

Please note: We do not provide trail rides to the public, but you are welcome to join us for a lesson.

Lessons

Our approach emphasizes safety, relationships, and overall horsemanship. Therefore, we generally require the first lesson to be one hour long. It will include an introduction to meet the horse, and learn about horsemanship, grooming, tacking, etc. This allows the horse, rider, and instructor to get to know one another for a safer and more enjoyable riding lesson experience.

We have a team of skilled, licensed instructors who teach all levels.
