Lessons and Riding

We emphasize safety, relationship and overall horsemanship.  Therefore, we generally require the first lesson to be one-hour long.  It will be a general introduction to getting to know the horse, horsemanship, grooming, tacking, etc. This allows horse, rider and instructor to get to know one another for a more safe and enjoyable riding lesson experience.

Additional lessons may be ½ hour or hour long– private or grouped with riders at the same level HomeFarm at Undermountain is proud to have several skilled licensed instructors. Please call 413-637-3365 at least 3 days in advance to schedule your lesson. The calendar can be quite full at times.

Check out the Events tab for special activities and our Facebook page for upcoming fun time opportunities such as Ladies Night, After-school Specials, Vacations Specials, clinics, Sunday Fundays, Obstacles and Games and more!
